Carving Pumpkins

I know this is late but had to add it in....The Monday before Halloween we carved pumpkins for part of our FHE. The kids love doing this every year and really get involved with taking the "guts" out and drawing out their design. Every year Abby asks if we can roast the pumpkin seeds but nobody ever eats them and it is more of a hassle to get the seeds separated from the rest of the pumpkin that it's not even worth it to me. But we do have a lot of fun carving the pumpkins and lighting them up! This year Mason wanted the same design as Abby did, but wanting some variety, I was able to convince him to at least have different eyes. So here is our art work (or I should say Therin's ark work, he is the carver in our family!)
