We had such a fun Halloween this year! Abby dressed up as a cowgirl, Mason as "Winnie the fat Pooh" (that is what Mason would say anytime someone asked him what he was going to be for Halloween,) Jared as Zorro, Therin as Indiana Jones, and I was Cleopatra. However there are no pictures of Therin or myself. How that happened, I have no idea. At the end of the day we were going through pictures and realized there were no pictures taken of us. I am very sad because we had great costumes (a BIG thanks to our great friends Tannie and Andy!) Therin was even packing a gun the whole night! Oh well at least we got plenty of pictures of the kids! We started out at Abby's school for a carnival then headed over to Main Street in Springville (which we do every year) where all the businesses are out on the sidewalks handing out candy. We ended Main Street with our traditional Pier 49 dinner of yummy pizza and breadsticks! After dinner we headed to our ward's trunk or treat then on to our neighborhood! This year our kids got so much more candy then they have in prior years. Luckily they have parents who love candy, so the Halloween candy has been depleting quickly!! (That actually isn't good but it's better than having my kids on a sugar high for a few weeks or constantly complaining that their tummies hurt!) The kids were very lucky this year, there is a local business (little giant ladders) that we go trick or treating to every year and they pass out king size candy bars. But this year, on top of the candy bars, they were giving out $2 bills!! The kids loved that part until we told them that they couldn't spend it!! All in all we had a great day and Mason asks me almost every day when Halloween is going to be here again! Thank heavens we have a whole year to recuperate!!

Every time someone would put a piece of candy in Jared's bucket he would take it out and want me to open it. When I wouldn't open the candy, he would just start eating the wrapper and all. I didn't keep track of how many wrappers he ate!

Winnie the Fat Pooh, hahaha. That is too funny! And I love the mustache on Zorro. Your kiddos are so cute!
