Yard work

One of Mason's favorite things to do is mow the lawn. Whenever he gets a chance to sneak out of the house he goes straight to the shed and takes the lawn mower out. He will then continue to push the lawn mower all over the yard just as if he were actually mowing it! I have even caught him down the street doing the neighbors lawns! We finally told him that he could not play with the lawn mower anymore but he could help us mow the lawn. It is the funniest thing to watch him mow the lawn with Therin. He takes it so seriously and will not look up for anything until they are done! I sure hope he continues to enjoy mowing the lawn when he gets older and it actually becomes a chore!

This is a leaf off of our Emperus (sp?) tree. It is so amazing how fast these trees grow and how big their leaves are. Jared was walking around with it, using it as an umbrella!

What a hard worker he is. Tell him he can mow my lawn any time he wants. I am terrible with birthdays, so I will continue my tradition of wishing "late" birthdays. I hope it was a good one. It sounds like you have a great little family to help you celebrate.

I love that kids love yard work at this stage of the game! I really hope that my boys decide they like it in a few years but I highly doubt it. That leaf next to Jared is amazing! I want to see a picture of the tree!
