Mason riding without training wheels!!!

Last Saturday Therin decided to take Mason's training wheels off to see how Mason would do. Right after he took them off, Mason jumped on his bike and took off like he had been riding without training wheels for years! We had tried this a few months ago without any luck but Mason's little friend, Dillon, took his training wheels off at the same time and I guess trying it with a friend is the key!! Ever since then we have not been able to get Mason off his bike. He has ran into a few cars since Saturday and has charged after them as they come towards him in the street, but he is still alive with only a loose toenail and a little scratch to show for it!! We have had to have numerous talks about him moving out of the way of cars instead of waiting for the car to move out of the way, but I think he has finally got the idea and is now a safer rider!!! He loves to wear Abby's old pink helmet even though it is a little too big (I think it is time to get him his own!)
